Hi, I’m Melissa.

I’m a licensed mental health counselor. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and have extensive experience working in the mental health field.

I have always enjoyed listening to people’s stories and offering a compassionate, supportive presence, which naturally led me to pursue a career as a mental health counselor.

I personally live this life. I live the life of an involved stepmom who now has a child of her own and balancing roles between all of my children while healing from my own wounds. I feel as a therapist that I cannot ask my clients to do any work that I have not done for myself.

I have worked with individuals of all ages—adolescents, adults, couples, and families—in both outpatient and intensive outpatient settings. My experience in intensive care developed a strong passion for assisting families through difficult times, strengthening parent-child relationships, supporting families through co-parenting challenges, and fostering healthier communication patterns.
