Family Therapy
Is one dynamic within the family impacting the entire family system? Do problems just feel like the will not stop adding up? Do you feel stuck on how to solve these problems?
Every family functions like a car and each member has an integral role that helps the car travel from point A to point B. Although, sometimes our car needs a "tune-up" in order for it to start driving and reach its destination. In family therapy, the therapist may function as the family’s “mechanic” and provide an unbiased, outside perspective to assist your family by helping to identify the potential downfalls and unhealthy patterns which may have developed in the familial system. I strive to give each individual family member the space to express their individual perspective and validate each person’s experiences in a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment.
